Hello everyone! No matter where you are, I’m so glad you opened this email—this is BASHERT! (A fun Yiddish word we learned at a recent Paint Party—it means “meant to be.”)
We had one of those magical “meant-to-be” moments recently: a wonderful lady joined us at Robbie’s of Islamorada -before we even started she said- This is BASHERT! She’s a music teacher, and one of our painters mentioned they’ve always wanted to learn ukulele. Next thing you know, ukuleles appear, we’re strumming a few chords, singing together, and painting coconuts. Sometimes it’s not just about what you paint but the memories you make and the people you meet! 🌺✨
Your turn! Here’s where you can make memories, meet people, and create fun art:
• Tuesdays – Coconut Painting at Robbie’s of Islamorada
Drop-in style, starts at 5 PM (sometimes earlier!). Outdoors under a big tent, with food & drinks from the Hungry Tarpon. Paint a coconut, feed the tarpon, stay for trivia—perfect Keys vibes!
• Wednesdays – Dockside Boot Key
Outdoor under a roof, right on the water. Great locals’ spot! Grab drinks and food from the bar. Stay for Trivia after!Arrive early for the best parking.
• DoubleTree Grand Key West
We paint in Lobby bar area with food and drinks from the tiki hut—plus chocolate chip cookies!
• Coconuts Art Studio- this is our studio in Islamorada- meaning it’s where we do creative experiments and get ready for all the fun! You are welcome to bring drinks and food! We have been hosting a Batik class here once a month.Our friend Dottie leads this class!
